Hi guys! It's official, Greg X. Volz is confirmed to perform at the Petra Farewell concert. I just spoke to Barbara, his wife and she confirmed it as of yesterday afternoon. WOO HOO!

Please just pray that everything goes well as planned and that everybody including that Petra members involved have a great time.

By the way Barbara told me that it would be neat for us to E-mail Greg at [email protected] with suggestions about a possible newsletter vs.
E-mail list. What do you think?

Oh yeah Susannah...Stryper's going to be in California at the House of Blues in Anaheim, San Diego and L.A. in November, and you're going out of state to see them? You must really like those guys.

Hehe. So am I, I'm buried in school. I wish I could go to Nashville. Oh well, I'll get to see them in November.

My form of escape right now is watching kiddie movies....

"Shrek II" and "Toy Story" have been playing a lot around here lately, my nephew is into those movies. Of course I love them too but my nephew is a convenient excuse not to admit it.

Don't think I'll make it, but it sure would be fun to see it and meet some of you. $729 airfare is a bit much though.... and I'd have to beg a ride from the Nashville airport.....

Guess I'll have to stick to the concert in Bogota on December 18. What's cool about that is it might be their last concert ever! Unless they extend into Europe next year.

If I came, it would arrive on the evening of the 3rd I think. Pretty much all flights from Quito leave early in the morning.

I don't think I can really justify the money though.

Some of you should join me in Bogota!!! It will be fun, we'll travel to the jungle and other places!

Yes, it was a definite step into 'uncharted territory' for John, but he pulled it off and I for one love this album - and no, I'm not into modern rock at all.

I agree with Sue. I think this is a great album! One of my favorite songs is I Killed A Man (awesome lyrics and style).

I liked John's solo albums, but like some have said on here is I feel like there is something missing from the songs. It almost feels like the songs are very shallow or simple minded.

This live album is great news. My dream album for Petra's final was some sort of renuion project featuring all the past members, and while "Farewell" won't be my dream album, the fact that I'll get to hear at least Greg Volz and John Lawry again is the next best thing.
