here's the word from Penny:

TOMMY BROWN is a friend that used to play with Mylan; he now owns a bus/coach company in Atlanta and has formed a band called Viktor.

They just played their first date in Cleveland, OH, and had a blast.

They don't really know where this is all going at this point, but are following as God leads.

Dates in Brazil is in the making; a record company has approached Louie's manager and would like to bring the band down in September, but this is all in the planning stages right now.

So... that's it!

tommy replied again with: "The guitarist played with Mylon. I was
Mylons and Petras bus driver at one time in the early 90's. Ive
played with some bands you may not have heard of but have the honor
of playing bass with these three veterans of CCM
Thanks for your interest and keep in touch
Be on the look out for Viktor!"

sounds very interesting.

That would be great to put up on the website. Once I can get Penny to respond to some other items, I will bring that up as well. (Along with the newsletter we set up as well via Bravenet!)

FYI, Louie currently has three dates with this band. When I talked to Penny a couple weeks ago, she made it sound like a three date gig but that could have easily changed.

I do have a calendar at http://www.louieweaverministries.org that has these three dates in August. As soon as I get info from Penny, I will post it as soon as I have a chance.

That site will have info updated as I get it. Once I get an e-mail or phone call from Penny, I'll put it up as soon as I get to my resources.

P.S. It looks like Chris Bruno has Louie's personal site up. If you go to http://www.louieweaver.com , you will get a page not found. But, if you go to http://www.louieweaver.com/index.htm , you are good to go. Looks like he has some fine tuning to do as some graphics do not appear.

Give me your opinion on this page: http://www.louieweaverministries.org/index2.html . I know the current one is shoddy looking but, at the time, that is what the Weaver's wanted. Now they want something better and I am waiting on their response before going whole hog in the redesign phase.

Keep in mind that a lot of content still needs to be provided by the Weavers like a mission statement, contacts, a better calendar, etc. This is a website in constant change.

Chris Bruno is working on louieweaver.com so that one is out of my control.

Thanks! I am really looking forward to Weaver's feedback so I can take the plunge and redesign the whole site. I've been on Penny's case to give me a mission statement (Louie is working on it but, being the perfectionist he is, it is taking time) and starting up the newsletter.

All in due time. I have to learn to practice patience.

Speaking of which...

On the subject of all this, anybody notice who the newest registered user of this zone is?

I had noticed when "Degroff" had joined as well, but didn't say anything at the time. This time I figured why not.
