Still got any T-shirts from the "Greatest Hits" tour of a few years ago.
Willing to pay $$ for the one that has Petra on the front and the list of songs on the back.

I try to keep a pretty up-to-date list of where you can get the CDs and the occasional book and whatever at
The List at
A Guide to Petra. Sue's a good bet for some other odds and ends... with the track record of the official site I'm not sure how much I would trust it myself, but I'm sure they've got some pretty decent stuff
over there.
(I'd check but I can't... seems that their store is set up in such a way that blocking the popups allows you to conveniently not be able to access it. They're going to get a rude awakening in a few weeks when everybody has the XP Service Pack 2, which builds a popup blocker into Internet Explorer and turns it on by default! hehe!!)

You're so UP on all the latest!
XP pop-up blocker... yeah right... I'm still on Windows 98!

I'm particularly up on this one because it has been widely reported in tech media as (1) essential for security, and (2) likely to cause big problems when it is released and it breaks compatibility with existing stuff. I had to check it out before it started winding up on computers where I work and we started getting phone calls!

Computers

Hehe, I think my computer hates me. I was using MS Word 2000 to do some of my work, and the program started freezing whenever I would try to open it, so I thought, "Okay, I should probably have something more recent anyway," so I got the software for MS Office 2003. I discovered I needed to upgrade from Windows ME to XP to install the software, so I did that too. That part wasn't real hard. I got upgraded and got MS Office installed but now I can't open any of my old or new MS word documents. Fortunately I have a laptop that's Windows XP, I loaded the software on it and I don't have any trouble opening anything. But I don't have my printer software on my laptop, so I can't print any documents right now.
Any computer experts out there have pointers on troubleshooting word processing programs?

sounds like Gates just wants you to spend more money on more programs.

Hehe. Yeah, they come out with upgrades too often for me to keep up. It isn't that hard to upgrade or install software, it just consists of putting a CD in and it guides you through the process. But it stinks that I can't open any of my word documents.

And everything else seems to be working okay, I can get on the Internet and I can get into my WordPerfect documents. This is WP 6.0 and it runs on DOS!!! Hehe.

Shell,
We gave up and switched to
OpenOffice.org. Loads and saves all of the MS Office formats, and it's free. No more cash going to Redmond!

Hahaha, yeah, but I already bought the software.

And I can write it off on my taxes because I need it for work.
That might be something I'll think about later.
