Why take what this coward is saying seriously. I mean the person is proving that know very little about Petra's sales. I don't know where that 80K figure came from and I would love to know if that can be confirmed for Revival, but I do know for a fact that Revival sold at least 50k as that info was posted here by one of the inpop people.
I also think it's pretty clear that JH is selling much better than Revival did and with the help of a tour it should not have any problem hitting the 100k mark.

I don't have anything against Petra's CD selling well, but it's the message in the songs on the CD that really matters when you get right down to it. Not CD sales.

I emailed Bob a few months ago and he said he doesn't know exact #'s but Beyond Belief, PP1, & PP2 have gone gold (500,000 units sold) and that Unseen Power and Wake Up Call were very close. It might come to surprise everyone but he said that Back To The Street (one of my favs) was not in the top ten in sales for Petra albums. I would someday like to see the sale figures for each album. I don't know why but I'm a numbers type of person. I hated math in school, but it's got me hooked now.

Gold is units shipped, NOT sold.

And yeah, Petra's HUGE world tour will help sales, wait does 4 dates make a tour?

JAh is selling under 1000 copies a week right now, I'm sure it will sale 100,000 by next spring like someone said.

It's because Petra is out there preaching the Gospel and they are starting to get things stirred up again with talking about Jesus and all, and the Devil HATES it. This is probably just one of his little soldiers doing his dirty deeds for him.

I think its time for everyone to "Get A Grip" on this subject. I think most everyone who visits this site is a Petra fan. I'm a huge Petra fan, I even have a website dedicated to them. I want Petra to be hugely successful again. I wish I could afford to advertise for them to increase their sales. I think this CD is awesome and has plenty of potential to reach 100,000.
The fact is, Petra is wishing to be a ministry, they want to reach people to accept Jesus. We must pray their message reaches 100,000 or even 1 person to accept Jesus as their savior. So, do they reach 100,000 or more in sales, I hope so. But if they reach people, that's even better to me, even if they don't reach 10,000 in sales.

I agree with you Petrapraise, but I am praying for high sales so that Petra can attain it's former glory and that there will be many more Petra albums to come. As far as trolls go, I like them, they get me Fired Up!!!

I want high sales for a couple of reason on is that Petra will be able to continue with their ministry, and 2 that the guys will be compensated for their hard work.

Petra is different in my mind from any other CCM artist out their, because they put ministry first or foremost. It's not about selling albums it's about giving people a chance to know Jesus as their personal Savior.
