According to their website http://zjam.com ZJAM will have Petra as their featured artists this Saturday, Oct. 18, starting at 9 p.m. CST.

You can listen in on various stations that broadcast over the net - including one run by some friends of mine at www.Q90fm.com up in Green Bay.

Here is the listing of net and local stations to tune in to and the corresponding air times.

As soon as I get confirmation from the station, I will also put out a broadcast email on it via jws.com (sign up if you haven't done so yet!)

If anyone is able to record some of this for me so we can archive it, please let me know! [email protected]

I don't need the WHOLE 3 hours worth, but the speaking parts would be great to have.

You could hook your computer to your cassette deck(if you still have one), to record the broadcast.
Go to RadioShack and purchase a Audio cable (part # 42-2551).
This has an 1/8" connector on one side and 2 RCA phono plugs on the other.
1) Plug the 1/8" plug to your computers output jack on the sound card. (Usually by where your speaker plug in).
2) Plug the 2 RCA phono plugs into the back of your Cassette Deck into the Input jacks.
3) When the broadcast starts, just hit record on your deck and you will have a good analog recording. This can be rerecorded later back to your computer using the same cable. Be sure you give it a test first before the actual time you need it.

Yup, I still have a dual cassette deck, but it would be a real pain to unhook everything and drag it down to my computer.

Once I record it onto cassette, I still don't have a clue as to how to turn it into an mp3 from there, much less compress it and all that, and I really don't have the time to learn.

But thanks for the info - I just may try it anyways.

no time

Still haven't had time to try a recorder.... anyone out there want to give it a try for this Saturday?

For us basic computer users -

I will be working until 9:30 p.m. and not get home until after 10 p.m. but could one go to that site and record it via MusicMatch, Sound Recorder, etc.? I know that Sound Recorder (Basic Windows recording software) records it in .wav format, which would get huge. But if you could convert this to an MP3 or something, then it would be feasible.

Come on, computer techies! Chime in on how one could do this.

This is outside my area of expertise. And I'll likely miss most of this show anyways....blast it.

I'd just suggest that anyone who tries to record this have lots of hard drive space ready :/

Yeah!!!! I'm listening on "Power Praise 107" via the net. They've already played "Right Place" and are on "all about who you know"

More like it!

Sooooo much better than the TBN sound. I'm listening on KTLW and it sounds great. I tried the station out of Green Bay and it was terrible. I think it was Windows media vs. real one but i'm not sure. Beyond belief is on now and it's awesome.

Did they just say Quinton is back?

Thats what im talkin about!!!!!

I think all the ruckus about recording the broadcast is unnecessary. I believe by next week it will appear here: http://www.wfcr.com/zjam.html

hmm, that's just in Real, and looks like it will only be there two weeks. Would be nice to get an MP3 or OGG version. I'd be glad to mirror it.

That was a KILLER rendition of Dance. I caught a bit of it while I was driving, and now it doesn't feel so bad that I missed it-it'll be archived somewhere.

They sounded really, really good.
