Schlitt gets hip!
Ohhhh baby! How did I miss this one? Last nite i picked up the self-titled CD by a group of 3 sisters called Everlife. John Schlitt does a few vocals at the end of the second track "Take a Ride". Granted it is a short part, but still it's neat to hear him wail a bit alongside some female vocals. It's another way to get his name out there. The Everlife album is on Tovah Records and is awesome Christian pop/rock. Not sure how Schlitt got hooked up with these girls, but I'm glad he did!

Everlife: There's no song we don't like. Usually you're really self-critical and of course we always say, "Lord, make us better!" But I love every song. The second track, "Take a Ride," was cool because John Schlitt from Petra made a guest appearance on it. We recorded in his basement. His son-in-law was our producer. So he would come in and give us his advice.

Hehe. I can see why you might think that; but I figured he was probably talking about a song or an album.
John was walking around pretty well last time I saw him, and they usually won't do a hip replacement on someone younger than at least 60 unless the joint is damaged so badly they just can't walk.

I'd have to disagree with you for once, Shell. Yngwie Malmsteen's cover of "Carry on Wayward Son" was sooo awesome! I'm sorry, but it just makes the original version sound so...wimpy.Nobody could do better than the original, it would be unfair to expect that of anyone, but she did do a pretty good job.
I just remembered, on Louie's "Back to the Basics" video, there's one part where Ronny's trying to play that song on his bass. It's pretty funny.

I'll have to check that out Susannah. I've only heard a couplel of Yngwie's songs, but would love to hear that song. I also need to watch Louie's video again. Don't remember that part.
