They are strangers, they are not of this world...so that makes them Aliens. Just kidding! Good question though.

I am curious now that you brought it up, although it wouldn't make any difference to me . Their lyrics in each song testify what they are about, which is cool with me. Bible based lyrics!

I agree

Carolina I agree with you. Petra is a truly christian band. And you can see their will is to serve the Lord. Their lyrics is according to the Bible and they are reformists.

I don't know about the other guys, but John attends a non-denominational church - Christ Community Church - as do many Christian artists, it seems. His wife is also employed there, working with small children.

Louie attends a Church of the Nazarene.

By the way- Christ Community Church is part of the Presbyterian Church of America. Bob and John are members. The PCA is a consevative evengelical Denomination. I used to be a member and would see them from time to time at church.

You are right... John did say to me that it really has the feel of a non-denominational, rather than BEING a non-denom.

My mistake.

Calm down, Elo... take it easy girl.... I'll go back into hibernation now!

WOO HOO!

Coming from me, the former Nazarene Youth Pastor... Louie just became my favorite (former) Petra member!

Just kidding... but I am Nazarene, so that is cool to know!
