What about "Our Turn Now"? Granted, it's technically a Carman song but all of the band is on it and it's definitely done in Petra's style.

If you squish them down to 96kbps you can fit them all on one MP3 CD...

I just got finished recently putting my CD collection on my Computer.

All 668 CD's, I thought I would never finish. It took about 30 GB to place them all on hard drive in the 128 KBps MP3 format.

I wouldn't have time

I have somewhere in the zone of 500 CDs I wouldn't have time to put my whole collection on comptuer. However, my Petra collection would be something I'm considering.

Tiger71,

How did you transfer songs from CD to MP3? Do you have a program to do it? If so, is it free?

For Windows, try CDex: http://www.cdex.n3.net

You'll still need Winamp or something to play them back after you extract them... Windows Media Player will do, you probably already have that.

I use this program to convert CDs to MP3s - most of what you hear on jws.com was made with this: http://musicmatch.com/

It's free, and it's not too hard to figure out for a technically - challenged person like me!

I use Cooledit Pro for all my stuff. It's real good for restoring songs from LP and Cassette, but it's in the high cash range. So you probebly want to go with the choices above.

someone said something about Windows Media Player....if you have at least version 8 or 9 you can convert cda to mp3 and even revers, you can burn mp3 or wav to cda format on a CD using Windows Media Player.

I use Windows Media Player 9 to burn all of my CDs except I still haven't figured out how to burn a LIVE cd with out track interuption, does anyone know how to do that?

If you go to www.wmplugins.com, they have a free Nero CD Burning plugin that is supposed to take the pauses out. I downloaded, installed it, found the setting, but when I went to burn the CD, it threw an error. I never did get it to work. I may just be something with my system, who knows.
