The Petra Zone

I really need to know something. When did Johnny resign from Petra because I read in an interview with John Schlitt that he left during the recording process of Wake Up Call and he didn't stay for all of the album and then I saw pictures from the Wake Up Call tour and Johnny was still with them. Hmmm

They shoot pics whenever they shoot pics. There is no set time to do a pic after the album has been completed.

I saw Petra on the Wake Up Call tour 2 times and the first concert was in Louisville,Ky and John was still with them,the next one i actually cannot remember where it was but Jim Cooper was with them. It might have been in Cincinati,at King's Island,I remember being disapointed but Jim was pretty good himself.

I had the same experiance as Jonathan. Saw Petra twice on the WUC Tour and Johnnie was with them the first time, but Jim was with them the second time. I believe the dates were almost a year apart.

I saw Petra play on Dec. 31, 1993, and Johnny was still with them. A few months later I heard it announced that he had left, but I don't know when it was.

Susannah...Where did you see them play that night, was it Knott's Berry Farm? I wonder if we were at the same concert?

Yes I was, isn't that a riot? I cannot believe we went to the same concerts and never met.

I'm pretty sure that was the year that Boise, ID was the first or 2nd stop... Jim was at that concert when they came here.
