Hahahaha, Michael, you are bad, and if I didn't know you wouldn't make a post that actually referred to what the subject line suggested I might have been fooled.
Those are good songs to listen to when you're falling asleep.

Personally, I've never tried using Petra to go to sleep, but I can tell you that John's "Wake the Dead" is a particularly effective song to set your alarm to.

I was in Indianapolis for their concert in March 2002 at the Pepsi Center where John sang the national anthem.

I would sleep just if the songs are finished.

The son of my sister are 3 months old. I hold him and I bring him at my bedroom where I put petra songs. Everyday when I do that, if he is crying then he stops crying. I hope he is a great petra fan even through his parents don`t like this...

I was here though by August when they played the state fair. That was a strange show. Ah well, another time.

One of my favorite slower songs from Petra is King's Ransom from Back to the Street. It's one of the more underrated Petra ballads in my opinion. I always have it on my favorites complilations.

It's not that it takes him that long to get to sleep... that's just the playlist that he goes to sleep listening to. In fact, if it finishes and he's awake, he comes and wakes ME up to start it playing again!

So, Petra's sleepiest album is a tie between Revival and PP2.
Purely from a track-listing standpoint that is. I am sure someone would be willing to see what the time duration is, so we can see just what the longest nap we can take is during one album.

I think the total time for the entire playlist is like 4-5 hours... not enough for a whole night's sleep unless you play it twice back to back.
If I think about it tonight at home I'll see which album has the longest run of sleepytime tracks.

ya know, when you said that petra puts babies to sleep and you said who cares what they think? it took me like 5 minutes to understand the joke and then I started to laugh hahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ya know, we should care, specially to sue since she arranges concerts. those babies are tomorrow`s fans who will buy Petra albums and attend to concerts hehehehe.
OHHHHHH thanks God Michael!!!! I started to get worry , I thought you were having and affair with a mexican woman who owns a department building in the south of mexico(the name of the lady that rents my brother a department is Petra HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
this is too funny LOL. ya know, the only record that helps me to sleep is petra praise II (not for boring!!) but for calm ya know, hard music wakes me up more.
