Plagiarism at its finest

Yeah, I always thought that, too. The choruses are almost exactly the same. Petra's ripping off their own song! Bob could sue himself! LOL

I listened to "Rodeo" by Garth Brooks not too long ago, and it makes me think of the acoustic remake of "Judas Kiss" on Double Take.

I listened to 'It's a Mistake' by Men at Work not too long ago, and it made me think of Double Take in its entirety.

Poor Double Take...I happen to like it; I know it won't be to everyone's taste though.

Double

Post by Michael » Tue Mar 15, 2005 4:18 pm

Double Take is Petra's msot artistic album from an arranging standpoint. It has musical depth that you don't often see in Petra's recordings. And you all know I'm a BIG Petra fan! If Double Take had been new songs by anyone but Petra, it would have gone to the moon in sales. Problem was, the non-fans saw it as old-music-by-old-guys, and fans saw it as The Abomination of Desolation. If you don't know what that is, look it up at BibleGateway.com. ;)
