I just got an email from the "The Door" in Deep Ellum (Downtown Dallas)
that Petra will be playing there on November 8,2003!!!

It's about time the guys made it back to Big D!!!

I just hope the concert doesn't get re-scheduled or cancelled.

Congrats. You make me envious. But I'm trying to get Petra booked at a local club here.

The good news is, The New Union (our big Christian club) is moving to a much larger venue with a big theater...I think I read that it had 1,600 seats now.

I just looked at the door's site and they have it listed, but with a ?. So it's still not confirmed. Nov. 2 Stryper will be in Fort Worth and on Nov.8 Petra will be in Dallas; Boy this is going to be one rockin' week in the Metroplex.

Spot, I would have Petra booked at the New Union last year - they did put in an offer after I called.

But it was too low... Maybe this year they can do better?

Dallas Rocks the Flock!!!

I'm hoping to see Petra come back to California. I will talk to a few places here in Bakersfield.

I already bought a ticket to the Fort Worth Stryper concert, and booked a hotel room, two weeks ago. I live 300 miles from Dallas, and won't be able to go back to the Metroplex the next weekend for Petra, because of money and I couldn't have my wife stay at home for two weekends in a row (she likes Petra, but she doesn't like to go to loud rock concerts). My brother is going with me to see Stryper, and he is as big of a Petra fan as I am. I've never seen Stryper, and I figured that I may never get to see them again, since this is a reunion tour. When was the Nov. 8 date booked? Maybe Petra will come back to Texas in the Spring.

Yeah Stryper is coming to LA also but I'm not sure, I can go........LA is about 2 or 3 hours away from Bakersfield.

The Dallas concert date for Nov. 8th has been confirmed. I know there are a few Dallas area Petheads around

I always see Petra when they come to Dallas...but on 11/8 I've got tickets to the OU/A&M game...and it's in Oklahoma...I wonder if I can get back to Dallas in time? hehe

Are there any contact numbers for this on where to get tickets? I haven't seen anything on petraband.com or johnwschlitt.com

I remember discussing that with you, Sue. The New Union was lowballing their offer, and it just wouldn't work. Well, they've got a bigger venue now, they've moved to downtown Mpls, and Stryper is playing there...October 17, I think. So maybe they're in the market for Petra, too.

Well, I picked a good time to get back in touch I will definitely be there, come, well, anything short of the apocalypse...
