How far did you go? How long did it take?

I'll start....I drove from Grand Raggedy to Indianapolis to see Petra.

It was as far and as long to drive from GR around Lake Mich to see John in Sheboygan, WI.

I traveled to the Caribbean to see John... :D Hopped a plane, flew to Florida and got on a cruise ship. Of course, he wasn't the only reason I went, I love the Caribbean. Think palm trees, sun and a sky where you can actually see the stars at night. L.A. isn't too good a place for that, at least not within the city limits...It's better away from the city.

I also hopped a plane in the summer of 2003 and flew to Wisconsin. So I've made some pretty lengthy trips. That was a lot of fun, it was worth it to meet all the cool people I met, even though I love John to death.

muahahahahaha

Well, you and I would be pretty close in the number of miles we've traveled probably...It's a long way from California to Florida and then from Florida to St. Thomas, Jamaica and so on. But yeah, it's a long way from Mexico to Wisconsin. :) My favorite tropical places are Hawaii,
St. Thomas, the Cayman Islands and Key West. I'd love to go again some time, especially to Hawaii.

That is SOOO not fair, Shell!

My family drove from L.A. to Florida to see Petra. To quote the dude in Backstage Pass, "I've seen 'em all around. I'm Mr. Petra!" Yup, that would be me...except I'm not a mister...so I guess I would be Ms. Petra.

Yeah, that was back in the early 90s. I was young and impulsive. :D

It was a lot of fun, but the group that put those cruises together isn't around anymore, and it got to be too expensive anyway.

I think I'll win this!!!
I traveled 16 hours by BUS to see Petra and consequently JOHN for the first time in 1995 on No Doubt Tour!!! It was wonderful....
The next time I traveled 16 hours again in 1999, Joe in SOS DA VIDA in Sao Paulo I was there and so Petra, the probelm was that everyone thought that Petra was playing on Saturday But they played on Friday and Newsboys played on Saturday and it was AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGG :D :D :D
In 2003 I traveled again more 14 hours to see them, I was so excited because I was going to meet Bob Hartman for the first time, :D :D :D but unfortunately the show was canceled     in addition the car broken and I had to stay more 2 days in another city waiting to come back home without seeing Bob Hartman play    but I had a great time with them because I took many pics and met Paul and Greg
In all these travels I enjoy a lot and had a lot of fun......I can do it again!!!
