Is John going to continue his solo ministry and can John sing Petra songs in concert since Bob has the rights to them

Anyone can sing any sng they want to in a concert, as long as they are not recording it for duplication and/or sale for money. So, yes John can and probably will sing Petra songs I would imagine.

Sue stated in another thread that John was still going to be available to do solo concerts, etc, so unless he changes his mind, I'd say yes. And, he's been singing Petra songs at his solo shows all along. In fact, he used to do solo gigs doing ONLY Petra songs before "Shake" was released. I would imagine that Bob would be pleased for just about anyone to keep his songs alive and ministering by performing them.
