The Petra Zone

So, i'm watching Saturday night live last night on the E! network. Now, E! has a scroll that goes across the bottom of the screen telling what's going on in the entertainment world. So as I'm eating a piece of pizza I look up just in time to see the words "breaking up this fall after 33 years!" I thought to myself, "No Way!"

I have Dish Network with the cool rewind function so I backed it up and sure enough it was the Petra retirement announcement! The funny thing is that the first story was about the Michael Jackson case and Petra was number two! After Petra came a story about Eminem! Petra actually beat out everything but the Michael Jackson case!

Just goes to prove our theories about how the world has accepted Petra more than CCM lately. That came up when Petra got the grammy for Double Take and a lot of CCM people were complaining about it.

Just thought I'd share......

So....Petra wasn't ACTUALLY on SNL like the subject heading read? You had me going there. I knew it was too good to be true. At least the pizza was good.
