Now that there will be no new studio album (barring a much prayed for miracle and Petra changing their minds and not retiring

), what happens to the songs that they were working on

??
Will John to use them in his solo career?
Does Bob give them to another up and comming artist to help kickstart their career?
Will some of them be included in a possible final live concert album/DVD?
Or (perish the thought

) do they get put through the paper shredder?? Surely they can't be that bad can they?
I know I probably will never find out, but I'm dying to know what they sounded like.
Anybody else curious??

I know in the past Bob has said he doesn't have any songs recorded in years past from Petra, He has said all the songs that they recorded make it on the final cut. I feel that there is some songs he has in the basement that didn't go on the albums this is just my opinion though.
Neal Schron guitarist for Journey says he has well over 300 songs that Journey has recorded over the years that have never made the final cut. In fact 3 of the songs on their "Arrival" Cd (2001) that they recorded with their new lead singer were originally recorded with Steve Perry back in the early eighties. Journey does have a new album coming out this year called "Generations", and also a world tour this summer and fall that is quickly selling out, and to think their doing all of this without a record contract; They are doing everything in house including managing.
