The Petra Zone

I find it interesting that Petra is getting so much press..and radio time nowthat they are retiring. I dont mean music radio time but radio announcements saying hey Petra is outa here soon. They seemed to not care about promoting there concerts and cds before the retirement announcement but jump at the fact to announce they're farewell

Seems theres alot of interest in them now that they are retiring. The reporters cant wait to get the word out that they are leaving.

They didnt get this much press and promotion before the reitrement announcement Just an observation. I could be wrong?

You probably are right about that, Rich; there have been any number of posts about the lack of promotion Petra's gotten. It is sad. It's a bit late to worry about it now though. They feel it's time for them to retire and we should pray for them.

Yes, I figured that was going to happen. It's news. Putting out an album is not news - everyone does it, but retiring after so long IS.
