PETRA VIDEO HOMAGE ��� FOR ALL PETHEADS !!!

If you are a Petra Fan and you know somebody else who is too, spread the word and be part of this Project.

Hello there, my dear friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. We want to invite all Petra Fans to respond this convocation.

Alter several years listening Petra�s music and received many God�s blessings through this band, we have thought to return a little of all we have received. I think we all can say something we learned from this music.

That�s why we have planned to make a video homage for this band y we wish something special to be made. This is so special that we invite you to participate. In this convocation you won�t be chosen but you simply must to respond and that�s all you need to be part of this project.

�Why a video homage for the band? Because watching the last Petra DVD titled Revival, we notice John saying he once thought nobody care about Petra and everybody was looking for another options. Thinking about this thought, we decide to make this video to be sent to the band so they can see many people really care about their music. There are many people who have received too much and that there hasn�t been any way to thank that. So, for us, and for you, it is important the band know we care their music. �Do you agree?

This is a simple convocation. The video will be made during a few following months and it will be finished on September 2005, to be sent to the band the early days of October. This is to have enough time to receive all fans contributions.

All right then, �What is this contribution about? It�s simple:

Everybody must to send their answer to the following two questions:

1. �What have given God to you through Petra�s music?
2. From all Christian musical options �Why do you prefer Petra?

The answers to this questions must to be sent to an email, in case they are written, or to a physical address in Mexico, en case they are video answers, and all must include your name (first and last), the city where you live and the country.

Ok, ok, so �What do I have to do to be part of this project?

1. First, you must to think your answers to the following two questions:

a. �What have given God to you through Petra�s music?
b. From all Christian musical options �Why do you prefer Petra?

2. When you have thought your answers, you must decide if you want to send them in a written way or you want to send a video.

a. Written Answers.
i. If you wish to send your answers in a written way, you need to write them in a text file, Word, Worpad or any other format compatible with any word processor. (We recommend sending the answers in a TXT file so we can read them easily).
ii. When you have your answers, you must to take a picture from yourself and make it as a JPG file of max 150kb.
iii. When you have all that, you must to take a picture from your location that represents the essence where you live. It could be a building, a monument, an animal, food, landscape, etc. for instance, if you live in Brazil you could take the Amazon river picture; if you live in Australia it could be a kangaroo or a koala; if you live in Italy it could be the Roman Coliseum; if you live in Mexico it could be the Angel de la Independencia, etc. It�s not necessarily that you take the picture, but you could search in the internet for one that doesn�t have any copyrights.
iv. Once you have all prepared, you must to send them by email to [email protected] with the following data:
1. Your name (first and last). (fi: John Smith).
2. Your location and country (fi: Lima, Per�).
3. Your two answers to the questions.
4. Your personal picture.
5. Your location picture.
v. When you send your email you must to receive a confirmation message from us to tell you we receive your participation. If we don�t confirm your message five days after you send the answers, please send them again. There are times when there are server problems and we want to be sure your participation is in.

b. Video Answers.
i. If you decide to send your answers in video, you need to record them in a video cassette VHS or VHS-C or a DVD-R. in this case you decide the background used while you are answering the questions. It could be a Park, your bedroom, a mall, etc. It�s up to your creativity.
ii. You must to consider the following matters when you record your answers.
1. The time for your video must be up to 30 seconds (must to administrate 30 seconds for both answers).
2. It can�t include publicity of any kind of products or services because we can have legal problems.
iii. When you have your video recorded, you must to label it with the following data:
1. Your name (first and last). (fi: John Smith).
2. Your location and country (fi: Texas, USA).
3. Your email.
iv. When you have all done, you must to write an email to [email protected] or [email protected] and tell us you have your video ready. We will respond indicating the address in Mexico where you will send your video. This way we will add your participation in our database and we�ll wait for your video to arrive. BE AWARE THAT DEPENDING OF THE COUNTRY WHERE YOU LIVE AND THE MAIL SERVICE THAT YOU USE, YOUR PACKET COULD TAKE A MOTH TO ARRIVE.
v. When we receive your video, we will email you to confirm we have it. Remember that this project is made by Petra Fans and it is a NON PROFIT PROJECT so your video cassette won�t be returned to you.


IMPORTANT

Your participation must to be received before august 31th 2005, because it will be difficult for us to add it to the final video after that date.

EXPLANATIONS

This is a NON PROFIT PROJECT and will be made by Petra Fans. It will be a video with no Copyrights, except for Petra Music, of course. If you share it with your friends, please don�t edit it.

All answers received will be included in the final video.

We don�t have planned to send a copy of the video to the fans, but we are considering a way to post it in the internet so everybody can download it.

The answers we receive can�t include bad words, any kind of publicity of products, stores or services. This is because we want to avoid any legal problems with the owners.

If we consider that your answers may offend o misunderstand in any way against any person or something, we will let you know this to look for a way to modify them and to make clear in a better way your ideas for your participation.

Since we don't live too far away, maybe we could make a new one and stick Warren in there as a -NEW PETHEAD - thanks to me, HAHAHA.

I've missed Brian, his posts always made me laugh. And if he, Enosh, Jonathan and Mat all happened to post on the same thread, it was quite a combination. Some of the funniest threads were the ones those four looney toons posted on.
