Okay, by now you all probably know about my obscession with the Japanese language. So anyway, I started working on translating Petra lyrics the other day - something I've been putting off for months. I have Thankful Heart finished to the best of my ability, and I also started King's Ransom but I'm still working on that one.

I still don't know nearly as much Japanese as Spanish, and Japanese grammar / word order is WAY different from that of Western languages. So figuring out how I need to correctly order all the words and phrases of a line is like working on a complex algebra problem. (but more fun, because I'm not a math superfreak) Because of that, my translation of the lyrics is probably inaccurate. I might have conjugated verbs wrong, too. But this is my translation of Thankful Heart so far. . . .

Hehe. I wonder how that would sound in concert. I think Japan has a real interesting history. I'm having a hard enough time trying to learn to speak Spanish though, I'm not ready to take on another language yet.
