Hey, it's August something. Who's going with me? Sue, it's a ferry ride across Lake Mich!
Also, Petra is playing there with Phil Keaggy and Geoff Moore! Holy snappers!
I can't control my bowels over that lineup.

I'll be driving from Ann Arbor to go the festival. I hope it's not the last time I see Petra.

At the risk of derailing one of my few legitimate topics:

What? Must have been an automated email thing.

Jon, I'm thinking about it but I'll be seeing them the day before. I've checked into ferry costs... kinda pricey, but do-able.
The day before (Aug. 12) they'll be playing at Powerfest in Marinette, WI.
My friends up there who run the fest weren't going to have Petra again (they played last year), and didn't want to book John either, but when I told them this may be their last chance for Petra - they put in an offer for Petra with H2O.
I'm glad Petra's playing, but it's also frustrating... I lose out on 3 years-worth of booking John into this fest, because they've already said they wouldn't want him back again so soon next year.
And they only reason Petra's playing there this year is because I gave them the heads-up on the retirement.

Awww man, I'd so love to go, but we will be in Sturgis, S.D. at the big bike rally still...........
We will have several bands come and play in our backyard. Wonder if we could invite PETRA!! Sue, why don't you check with Wayne on that.....

I'm sure he would approve that contract, with no stipulations at all.
