Last night John was asked about a reunion. John said no. It would have to be this next year, but Petra will most likely being doing good to exist after Dec 05.

John freelty mentioned what he has mentioned before, that they would like to try to do a live album, just to say thanks to Greg and Paul, and to let the whorld hear what great musicians they are. I don't know if it is set in stone, or a wish on his part. Time will tell.

They better exist longer than that. They are booked through Dec. 17

Brent what did John mean by it would have to be this next year? Did it mean that if Petra keeps getting hits for concerts into 2006 that they might do them?
With having 50+ dates in three months I think it would only help to get backing from Inpop for a live album. It is good that John keeps talking about it in interviews. I think a live CD/DVD would be a huge sucess. I know of a venue in my area that is trying to get Petra but are having alot of problems getting an open date. IMO this should have been happening all along.

Oh yeah. I guess I should have gathered that from the O5 rather than just 5. Sorry 'bout that.

'There would have to be a HUGE demand or something, from people saying "You guys have GOT to do this". It would have to be next year if it were to happen. But we don't see Petra existing past this year.' Quote, John Schlitt.

I think that the point John tried to make was "NO!". Because he said that if there were to be one, it would have to be next year. Next year would be silly. For a band that's not in that much demand anymore to quit Dec of 05, and then do a reunion tour the next year? Quite silly. It is my interpretation that they are moving on with life.
