"Schlitt said there was talk of one more double CD from Petra, one live and the other a praise-based disc."

wouldn't it be so totally cool if that happened?

That would rock! The live album we're waiting for AND one more praise album! 8) Hope that actually happens.

*scratches head* I think we're the ones doing the "talk."

From what I've read, it sounds like John really would like to do a live recording with Greg and Paul, just to showcase their chops. But you're right, Jonathan... it DOESN'T actually say who is doing the "talking." hehe!

(I don't remember anyone here mentioning another praise-oriented CD, though.)

I actually wonder who is saying this? My worship leader is a Petra fan and he told me the same thing last week and said he heard it from the producer that produced the worship Cd we have out from our church. This producer has done alot of producing for Word in the past, and does alot producing for Indie bands across the country. I had actually heard this before I saw the interview, but dismissed it because it seems like everyone is talking a different story.

BTW I haven't heard anybody on here or over at PRMW mention a double CD with one live and one praise.

John mentioned once that he would like to do the top 10 praise songs of all time and have Bob re-arrange them. He said that he would then like to include a live album, but I had no idea about packaging a 2 CD, kiss of death set.

I am still waiting to hear back about recording the show in Enid. There would have to be a CRAP LOAD of people attending to make it come off. The PA would have to be upgraded as well. The answer will come late if at all.

My money is on one live CD done over seas.[/code]

Brent,

I was thinking the same thing. If they did a live DVD overseas they would get the crowd that they want, and I think also it would cost cheaper to keep the quaility. My only question would be is would it be available for the U.S. market?

We will definately be there in Enid...Mj, Mikey and I can make enough noise for about 5,000 Petheads anyways! If that infact IS going to be the LAST US date....I think that would be ther perfect place to do a live recording! WOOHOO

Mj and I have been speaking to the promoter for the show and we plan to get the word out about the concert wherever we can! I know a few DJ's that do radio here in Tulsa and they are excited to help promote te show as well!!

Hope to see you all there...even Sue and Sam ...uh hmmmhmmmm:)

I heard a rumor last night (and no it wasn't from the band) that there might be a last US date in December. I don't think I should say any more, but I'd say from what I heard it is a good possibility.

However, I did hear someone ask John about one more CD and he said "if there is another CD it will be a live one." It sounds like nothing is set in stone yet, so let's keep on praying!

Alan Sandifer and I will be there. We will have a booth selling Project Damage Control CDs, T-Shirts, etc. We will have the Apple G4 laptop running a presentation, an headphone distribution for listening to tunes, etc. We will hopefully have some autographed copies from John as well.

To clarify... the promoter of the Enid show has said that he was told that it will either be the last, OR THE SECOND-TO-LAST Petra show in the U.S. Maybe a December show is in the works for somewhere else. If it were me and I was in range, I wouldn't risk it. Come on out to Enid!

Just outside of OKC, OK.
