Yoli and I gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Jadzia Marie Renaud earlier today. She weighed 6 pounds 1 ounce, and she is very hairy with nice black hair. We are very excited! I hope to post photos on my website in a day or two.

Yoli and I gave birth ...

I'll bet Yoli would beg to differ there!
But seriously, congratulations and may God bless her with health and happiness and a desire to sleep through the night!

I'm really happy for you guys...
children are truly a wonderful gift from God!
Little did I know that when I met you guys for the first time at the Angola Reunion Concert last year, you'd be basking in the joy of a bouncing baby girl in so short a time.
Blessings,
Terry (RockOn)
congrats

When Cat was having Mikey, I was in there yelling Lamaze numbers the whole time. My goal was to be the stable thing she could count on (no pun intended) while the whole deal was happening. When it was all over, I was EXHAUSTED! I don't know if I was 100% as tired as she was, but I was pretty worn out. I remember one time a day or two later when I seriously thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown because of the emotional stress of having a new person around who needed constant attention... fortunately a little walk fixed that for me. (I think at the time Cat thought I had left and wasn't coming back, so that shows how freaky things were for HER then!) Point being, just because the mother is the one with the physical pains doesn't mean the father isn't a participant. A good father is as much a participant as he possibly can be, both physically and emotionally.
Besides, Josh is a quality guy. I'll bet he was there for every bit of it, and I'll bet he even changes a few diapers!
