Hey Everybody!

I'm the Youth Pastor with Brookwood Church in Burlington, NC. We are located off of Interstate 85/40 Between Greensboro and Durham, NC. The promoter of the concert that was supposed to take place in Durham needed a change of venue and asked if we could host. OF COURSE WE CAN.

However, because of the struggles she had with location, her marketing efforts just began this past week and the concert is Thursday OCTOBER 6TH!!!

We have an awesome intimate venue that seats 750 when the balcony is full.

However as of this moment, ticket sales are at about 150  . Please come and rock this house. If you are near or know people in our area or on the east coast, get them in touch with us ASAP!!! We have people traveling from DC, WVa, VA, etc.

Check it out at www.brookwoodchurch.com or email us at [email protected]. Help us fill this place !!!! Tickets are only $12 online or $15 at the door ($10.00 for college students in advance or $12.00 for college students at the door)

I do have thursday off, only have to work early friday ( would have to get up at 7 30 to get ready for work, and dont like the idea of driving at night from 3 hours away. or I would try to make it.) Now if I had someone who would drive home that would be different. I am single , and do not have anyone that would do that. cant simply take off friday, would get in trouble at work. missed too many days of work this summer when I was sick.

Please pray

Ticket sales have not increased greatly. The concert is tomorrow. I'm excited because Petra is coming to our church but I also know that this is a financial obligation that the promoters have taken upon themselves. Please pray that the recent advertising and promotions will lead to a large walk-up crowd. Thanks!

P.S. If anyone from Petra reads this, thanks for coming...we are eagerly anticipating a great show here in Burlington. Thanks for being so great!

We drove 12 hours one day, slept 5-6 hours, spent most of the day and evening standing up and at the concert, got to bed at 2am, woke up at 7, and drove 10 hours home today. And it is worth EVERY SECOND of it. If you did it, you would NOT regret it!

A little help!

Hi Cody,

I live in Southern California and don't know anybody that lives in NC to contact. But I wanted to try and help a little bit, so I sent your info to Calvary Chapel of Raleigh asking if they could announce it to their congregation. I know it's not much but I hope it helps some! I'll be praying! God Bless you!

Hey Cody,

Let us know how it all turned out.

If there's one thing I've learned in all my years of promotion - NEVER look at the attendance figures as an indication of success.

If even ONE person comes to Christ, or ONE person renews his faith and comes back to the Lord - all heaven rejoices - and the concert was a success.

Read the lyrics to John's solo song "One By One."

It says it all.
