It's looking like we're not going to get any report on the show tonight.

Set list on this thread: http://thepetrazone.net/viewtopic.php?p=20188#20188

I'm under the impression that nobody but me brought a laptop. Go figure! I would have posted more last night, but it was REEEEEALLY late when we got in. I'll have a full review in a day or two, once I've had time to get home, process, and get back to normal life! :)

I tried to post a couple of times from my PDA, but was having to much fun to take the time.

Petra at their best!

I don't think Petra has ever sounded so good, all those old classics we know and love ROCKED! And it was a real treat to see Greg and John Lawry on the same stage again. And John Schlitt and Greg Volz singing together....WOW...who'd ever thunk it!??

The definitely went out with a bang...can't wait to hear the CD, or see the DVD...it was definitely worth the trip.

"Incredible" is the only word that seems to encompass the experience. I was jotting down the playlist as they did it on my Blackberry, but you already have the list published. I may still submit it since I had them in chronological order, including the entire "take two" set.

You can if you like... I just included the main performance. I don't know that it's THAT interesting to know which songs they messed up and played twice, and the second time through the entire set was pretty much the same as the first time. I wrote the whole thing down, but I thought people would just want to see the "as if it were a regular concert" set list.

We don't even know if "I Am A C-" will make the final cut. :)

So the production of this was being done by Jim Cooper and Tony(Guardian)? This is very interesting considering that Jim was once fired by John. Boy some egos had to come done there!

That was a long time ago; it would be sad to hold grudges that long. Jim may actually not have had a lot of contact with the bandmembers when you stop to think about it, he was probably too occupied with what he was doing to spend a lot of time talking to them.

Obviously he was able to put aside the differences for one night.
