Hurry up and wait upon the Lord
After all is done we find out all we really need is no doubt
Never perfect, but perfectly forgiven

I'd rather be a fool in the eyes of man than a fool in the eyes of God. There are a lot of great ones, but this still hits me every time I hear it.

This is actually a two liner, but it's still one of my favorites.

The fate of His creation isn't subject to a man
The final consummation is according to His plan

But let me tell you a little story. In 2001 my little brother, 19 years old, die in an accident. A really hard time to the family. All we asked Why? Why Lord? But my Lord remained in silence.

And in that time, came to my hands a Petra album, another Petra album: 'We need Jesus'. And in that CD apears this song, who become in some kind of medicine for my spirit. I never forgot the follow lines, because teach me one valuable lesson: The real love of the Lord for me and my family. Today, I don't know why my Lord take my brother, but He put in my lips one song, and I'm thankful for that words:

"You are filled with compassion and mercy and grace
With Your banner of love over me
I am longing to see You one day face to face
And to be with You endlessly
Lord, how lovely You are to me

Lovely Lord
You are all to me
Lovely Lord
Full of purity
Worthy of honor and majesty
Lord, how lovely You are to me

We will worship the name of the Holiest One
We will worship Your excellency
We will give You the glory
For things You have done
And be thankfully eternally
Lord, how lovely You are to me

Lord, how lovely You are to me"

Today still made me cry.

Ok what song did that come from? I'm ashamed I don't know it.

BTW it could be more than one line or even a whole song. Just trying to start a topic about how much certain lines and/or songs have had an affect on our lives.
