Rob Frazier Speaks About His Petra Days

The following is the result of an e-mail I sent to Rob Frazier in order to ask him a few questions about his days with Petra.
PM777:
Hey Rob -
This is Mike Tifft. I am the webmaster of Classic Christian Rock and Metal, an online Christian music review site.
I'm wondering if you might be so kind as to answer a few questions I have for you.
Do you have any thoughts you'd like to share on the fact that Petra is going to retire after 33 years of ministry?
Rob:
It's about time! (just kidding...)
PM777:
What are your fondest recollections of the time you spent with the band?
Rob:
Traveling out west and making the album together in FL.
PM777:
We know that both you and Greg X Volz sang on Washes Whiter Than and that you wrote several of the songs that appeared on that album. Did you sing lead on all the songs you wrote and did Greg sing lead on any of the songs on that album, or were you the lead singer on all of them, with him doing harmonies? Sometimes it's hard to tell the differences as the two of you blended so well.
Rob:
I sang lead on all my own songs and most of Bob's; can't remember which exactly.
PM777:
Has it ever bothered you that your contribution to the bands history has not had more attention?
Rob:
No, it helped me launch my solo career and my songwriting career, both of which I am more proud, actually.
PM777:
Can you tell a bit about what you've been doing since your old Petra days?
Rob:
Go to www.robfrazier.net and you can go to a bio page which gives you some history.
PM777:
Have you kept in touch with anyone from Petra over the years?
Rob:
Not really.
Rob also had this to say:
Frankly, my Petra days were short and not very happy; not to mention the fact that we were all young and not very mature in the Lord and did not get along very well, thank God for maturity coming eventually....
