Headed to Bogota!

Sorry, haven't been checking here much lately. Been hectic!

Anyway, I'm flying to Cali, Colombia tomorrow, and will over the next 3 days make my way by bus to Bogota for the concert on Sunday! If anyone reading this will be there, feel free to email me here: yoderm AT gmail DOT com
Would be very cool to meet up with someone beforehand.

It's pretty crazy, I almost couldn't make it. I had to get a new passport, a new Ecuadorian visa, a new Ecuadorian censo (like a US green card), and a new salida (permission to leave). I just got my passport last Wednesday. Turned it in for the visa Thursday morning. Just got it back this morning, and I spent all day in a stinking immigration office to get the censo and salida! Aaaargh!!!!!

But praise God, it all came through, just a few minutes before the place closed at 6PM! So I think all hurdles have been cleared for departure.

With Micah gone...there will be a power VACUUM! OH NO!

Ok, remain calm...just go about your business like he's always there.

Yes...that will do.

I spoke to Greg Bailey after the show in the Netherlands (December 4th) and he thought the show in Colombia was cancelled... I hope for Micah this is not the case. Of course management knows these things better than the band, so there's a good chance Greg was misinformed.

 OK....

I assume Sue would have some idea of that, and she just emailed me something to give John.....

I also heard someone in Ecuador say they heard some advertisement or something for it there. And that was just a week or so ago.

Anyway, travel is going well. I just spent last night in a nice mini resort on a coffee farm!

Aaargh. The number given is a cell phone, and they didnt answer when I tried.

Worse, the H2O page of Petra concerts lacks this one .... and the Google cache has it! So apparently they removed it from the list! That is seriously uncool ... I would expect that H2O has the authoritative list, right?

GAAAA.... was at the Plaza de Toros 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the concert, and no sign of activity. :x :x :x

Is there a prize for traveling to guerrilla infested countries to see Petra, only to have it cancelled when you get there???

That is rotten.

And a PR blunder.

Oh Micah - that is terrible.

No, I didn't know it was cancelled... management doesn't relay any info to me.

I'm SO sorry.
