Well... sorta! We've got MP3 clips of the entire Ft. Wayne concert that will be up on JohnWSchlitt.com within a couple of days, but I thought you guys might want an advance look at the songs that they played at that concert that aren't on the Petra Farewell CD. Click here to listen with your favorite audio software.

Again, we'll have the whole thing available later this week, but this is just the stuff that's not on the CD. Audio quality is marginal, but you get the general idea. And some of these songs weren't even PLAYED in Franklin, so they definitely won't even be on the DVD.

yeah

Greg Bailey sang it at the Irving Texas show.

Thanks, so much, Michael. My wife and I were at that concert. Thank you for helping us re-live that Great Night of Celebration. :)

You're welcome, but most of the credit goes to Sue D. for getting the files from whoever recorded them, and that person for recording them and converting them to MP3's. I cleaned up a few things and added tags to the files for identification, but the two of them did the leg work.

I'm surprised nobody has commented that they FINALLY got to hear the coveted Lucas McGraw and I Am A C!

Awesome!!

David Deuchert gets the credit for recording and sharing!

I also have someone who VIDEOD the Murphy show - he promised to send me the files when he gets them done and ready (probably a few weeks). What a treat THAT will be, huh??!!! I'm excited!

I'm sure that will be a REALLY popular file - so any of you impatient Petheads care to help pay for extra bandwidth once we put the whole thing online and the site blows out and shuts down?

This is a never-ending problem when you have as much high bandwidth eating "stuff" on a site as we do.

Without getting too technical, we're allowed 80 gigs/month, and the past few months we've been going WAY over, like 120+ this last month.

It costs $180/year to keep the site on a server. If I want to solve the bandwidth problem, I need to buy an extra plan (another $200/year - the price went up) OR an extra $20/monthly fee. That would give us 160 gigs, which should be more than enough to keep it up and running for the month.

We're already putting files on other people's sites (mirroring), and we STILL blow out bandwidth and shut down.

I only have $53 left in the kitty to keep the site alive. I'm paid up until Oct. 2006... but when that time comes....???

So the question is - in order to keep the site online for all the Petheads and continue to add audio & video, I'll need a bit more cashola to handle all the downloading that's sure to come.

I'm not ashamed to beg... the whole site has been run on contributions and volunteers, so if there are any folks out there who would care to help keep the site up and moving with a few extra dollars, please contact me!

Ok :) Thank you to ALL "Y'all"(no, I'm not from the South.) who were involved.

The video recording you're getting wouldn't happen to be from the person recording from front center. I was standing next to them during most of the second show and from looking at the screen they were getting great movies. I have a couple of short videos from a friend of mine but the sound quality is marginal. They were taken with a digital picture camera instead of a movie camera.
