I would also want to see that show. We saw Stryper in Nov.'05 a week before we got to see Petra for the final time. That week was so awesome!

I would probably travel any distance (inside the US) to see that show.

Not me.
I don't think of the two groups as being anywhere near on par. But Petra has had odder openers I suppose.

Not enough public interest. I have the statistics to show it.
Oh uh, yeah it would be kinda cool to see it happen. Never got to see Stryper in concert except on video tape.
not on par?

not on par? Don't dis Petra like that.
I think the styles are a bit different, and each is very good in their respective style.

There's enough interest in at least Stryper reuniting, relesing a DVD and touring (albeit in smaller venues) cuz they are doing it!

let's just say Petra is classic. Styper was more along the lines of "trendy"-in say 1985 that is, which is over.

Stryper actually has had pretty strong sales for their latest "Reborn" and their tour was a huge success, so much so Rolling Stone said The Reborn Tour was the best for 2005.

Maybe when the guys from the Petra "dream team" and Stryper turn 80 years old they can do a tour - and call it the "Who Says We're Too Old? Tour."

So then Stryper sounds completely and unrecognisably different? Like no one would ever mistake them for Stryper back in the day? That's good.

different

I've only heard clips online, but just judging from that, I'd say Stryper sounds AT LEAST as different now as from the earlier albums as JAH sounds different from, say,
Beyond Belief. It's definitely a new sound.
We've gotta get that one. Mikey and I are listening to
To Hell With The Devil before church (skipping the title track until he's older...

)

It is really a strong CD. The lyrical content leans more to it being Christian more than anything they have done.
