The Petra Zone

In the February issue of CCM magazine, Petra is mentioned on page 15 in a little thing called "5 songs on the love chapter" They are mentioned for their song "Love" obviously, but it also gives a small plug for "Farewell".

This one is hilarious....Petra also won third place in the CCM Reader's choice awards (page 42) in the catagory of "Who should make a comeback". DC talk was 1st place, followed by Jennifer Knapp and Petra. Where were the people who voted for Petra to make a comeback before they HAD TO MAKE A COMEBACK!?? hahaha

I used to love CCM Magazine...but in the last 5 or 6 years, it's really gone downhill.

As far as the Petra mentions...too little, too late.

I couldn't agree more. lol I still flip through the pages and I'll buy an issue when they mention petra.

Well, that and when they mention my band.

Funny how they get third place in a readers poll on who should make a comeback. Did they just pick the name because it was familar. Do they even keep an eye out in their local bookstore? Have they even heard of J&H, revival, or double take? How about "farewell" duh?

Maybe they just do not realize that there is no "market" for petra.
