Hi everyone.

Follow the link to a version of some of your favorite Christian songs done ala Polka! This is Petra Related, I put Jekyl and Hyde in there because it was too much of a temptation to resist!

Enjoy!

I am rolling!! It's bringing me back to the horrible memories of watching Lawence welk w/ my grandparents...but this polka is MUCH better. Hey you could tour this w/ John. Who knows he might be able to POLKA!!! There is always the oktoberfest tour!

Really you gotta pitch this to some record label in Nashvegas....there is a missing spot in CCm that only this could fill!:)

John would laugh so hard he would cry!!!

I just woke up one day about a year and a half ago and thought, "I gotta put these songs together the way Weird Al does on his albums." Of course his are much better, but I didn't think it was half bad for about an hour of work. I thought you guys would get a kick out of it. I'm glad you thought it was funny. I know I did.

You never know what's gonna go over well in the Christian market. the labels don't even know.

Wait till next week. Mat and I did a version of God Gave Rock n roll to you that is done "We are the world" fashion with many guest stars. Not polka but I think you'll be laughing on the floor with that one.

Guests Including

Elvis
Axl Rose
Neil Diamond
Juilio Eglasias
Jon Bon Jovi
Bruce Dickinson
Gilbert Godfree
Yoda
Bill Murray

You get the point. You'll have to wait for next week.

Oh Enosh, that is TOO funny! I am so glad I waited until I got home to listen to the polka. I would have hated to try to explain that to my co-workers.

I do have a song going through my mind right now though...."Too Much Time on My Hands." :P

I gave you a plug on a CCM mailing list that is visited by a number of industry veterans. If the right people find out about this and it starts to get around on the blogosphere, you might have some viral marketing going on and get some free publicity! :)

A Styx polka would be great. Maybe I should try to make one.

That's awesome Michael! Thank you. If you think this thing is funny, I've got so much more!

Bob Hartman and Kiss together in that GGRARTY parody. Then of course theirs my birthday songs. I usually write a birthday song for my wife and her twin sister yearly. They have come out really funny. Think Spice Girls "If you wanna be my lover" "If you wanna happy birthday" with my voice in a british accent! All in good time...

Thanks man,

I take that as a great compliment from a fellow Wierd Al fan. It means allot. Now I'm gonna go and have an emotional cry. I'm so happy!
