OK, I know this is stretching the "On Topic" description, but I just had to share this.

Although I have lived in Indianapolis for the past 4 years, I still read the Louisville paper, cuz I lived there for 45 years and I still follow U of L basketball (sad as that is this year). Anyway, one of the hot topics in Louisville this time of year is the Kentucky Derby and talking about the horses most likely to run and win. One of the favorites right now is a horse named -- Bob and John. He is trained by Bob Baffert, who is a very successful trainer. I just think that's a hoot.

Another horse, although a much longer shot, might be a favorite for the biblical scholars -- Corinthian.

I haven't actually bet on the Derby since 1978, but I always like to have a favorite to pull for. I guess I've found one for this year!

Hummmm...A horse named Bob and John....now that's interesting. :) Wonder who the trainer named him after?

I did once hear John sing a little ditty at a Petra concert about "a dog named Joe and a pony named Pete!"

Bob & John... that's TOO much!

I always followed horse racing when I was younger... could name all the derby winners for the past 15-20 years.

Let's root for this equine! lol!

Hehehe I love that. John and Bob........

I used to go to horse races all the time with my dad as a teenager. I still would love to go - there IS a horsetrack very close to where we live in Houston.......hmmm........maybe we should go one day - and "relive the old days".
Gosh, that must mean that I'm getting old when I wanna relive the "old" days........SIGH.
