Well, I don't know about stores in your area, but I'm feeling rather disturbed right now myself...I preordered it and I haven't gotten it yet. How dare the post office delay getting it to me!!!
It is pretty strange they would be told to send it back, I sort of wonder about that myself.

Which Lifeway specifically told you this? I'm looking into it now... Do you have the name of the person who told you this?
that's strange

I was in the lifeway store here in Goshen, Indiana and I had good experience they hadn't put the dvd on the shelf yet but it was on the cart with freight to be put up. The lady asked her manager and they brought it right to me and the price was a bargain if you ask me. Also Sharon good job and thanks to all the rest of the good people at inpop for something I truly will cherish for years to come. The production quality on this dvd is second to none You all did good and god bless. There is a lot of content on this dvd it was nice put some faces with some the names on this message board this dvd rocks

Well, no surprise here, Hastings didn't get my order in for whatever reason. I wonder sometimes why I continue to shop at that place. I'm going to call the Hastings in some nearby towns and see if they have it there. If they do, I may have to take a short road trip this evening.
I went by the Wal-Mart too, and could not find it, but I was in a hurry. I'll go back later, look again, and ask someone if they have it.

I just called the local christian bookstore here in Portland and the lady said that the DVD is going fast and that they only have a couple copies left. That was a pleasant surprise to me. Of course when she said that I had her hold a copy for me until I could get there once I get off work. I know a true Pethead wouldn't let work get in the way of getting the DVD the first day it is out, but I do the best I can.
Lifeway was great to me!

The Johnson City TN Lifeway was great to me. I am an area minister and when I called they only had two left. They are really moving the product. I would have liked to have seen some posters or something but I asked if they would hold it for me (I called first) and they did. Oh, does anyone have the same experience as I have. when you watch the end of the bonus inerviews and the CD just stops. You can start it again but why does it not go back to the main menu. Is it me? I love the concert and all the interviews. My small church is working hard to raise enough money to make it worth John Schlitt's time. Pray for us. PETRA TOTALLY R-O-C-K-S!

I was disappointed that while the bestbuy.com site had it available for order, none of the brick and mortars, or at least none in the north Atlanta area, were going to have it.
I stopped by a Family Christian Stores location in Woodstock, GA and they said the computer showed 1 in stock on Tuesday, but they couldn't locate it. I went by the Lifeway in Alpharetta Wednesday and they had probably 4 or 5. I bought 2.

$13.99 is more than the online preorder cost, and I figured I would probably pay more, but would rather wait until it was on the shelf and I could help move the needle in the retail locales.
If there had been something special advertised about pre-ordering it online like there was with the CD I would have done that, and did last time (also bought a copy at Wal-Mart for a friend), but such was not the case.

I don't know about the copies that went into retail, but the pre-release that we got crashes totally out after each bonus feature. You have to press play again to get back into it. But maybe that was fixed in the released product?
I checked Wal-Mart this morning (Admiral & Memorial, for Tulsa-familiar folks)... no dice. Cat's mom went to Mardel yesterday and they said they didn't have any, although I went to Mardel last week and was told that they expected to get it in. I told 'em I was on it.

If you guys get up to Grandville, Michigan, there were a few left at the Parable.
I may or may not pick it up.

Family Christian in Fargo, ND had three on the shelf when I stopped in late yesterday. I paid 9.97 for my copy.
Two other chain stores in town, Wal-Mart and the Rainbow Shop, didn't have the DVD.
