Will there be a epileptic-safe version available?

JUST KIDDING! JUST KIDDING! JUST KIDDING!

(mostly. )

I picked up the DVD today and am enjoying it. I want to thank Inpop for doing something they really didn't have to. The DVD is something I will enjoy having for a long time.

I think frankly that most all of the criticisms folks have had are pretty valid to one degree or another, but at the end of the day I'm grateful to have the product in my hand, and I would have paid more for it just to have it.

So thanks again to everybody at inpop and particularly Peter Furler. I hope you guys recoup your costs on this, and even if you don't remember that you have made some loyal inpop fans like me who will support other inpop artists solely on the fact that you helped put enough effort into the greatest band in Christian music history's gradual fade to make it respectable. Thanks.

It's a good thing you put the "Just kidding" warning on the top of that, man...I was about to lay into you something fierce...now I don't get to do that...

Anyway, I have epilepsy, and had no issues with the Farewell DVD. I also enjoyed the way it was edited and put together - I thought the editing job was done very well - after all, Inpop doesn't have the resources of MGM or 20th Century Fox or Disney. Then again, I'm only 24 years old (turn 25 in April)...therefore, according to SOME Petheads, since I am young and actually LIKE the editing style, I must have ADHD.

There were a couple of small ( VERY SMALL) annoyances - there are three noticeable sections - two lasting less than 30 seconds, one lasting less than two minutes, where Petra is not in sync with the soundtrack (or vice-versa) - and a few cutscenes done from the back of the auditorium/studio where someon'es fist and/or hand pokes into the middle of the screen.

These small things are NOT enough to cause me to not enjoy the DVD, and are NOT enough to make me think of it as a "cheap souvenir."

I am APPALLED at the torching that InPop, and, by proxy, InPopShara, has received because there are some people on here who think that Petra should have everything done, more or less, perfectly - it's like people here are expecting Inpop to turn out a product on the level of a major movie studio - it just won't happen. The people who have torched InPop don't seem to realize how much InPop could lose on this project - and I guarantee they aren't doing it for profit because, honestly, Petra probably is only going to sell enough units to break the studio even (sad, but probably true).

To those of you who have torched Inpop, bring on your arguments.

See I knew I was too old. Well, glad we got it anyway.

Well I do apologize if you were offended by the epileptic comment. It was probably in poor taste, even if it was a joke. :?

My comment was also meant as a joke...I didn't take offense at all to your comment.

I will admit, however, (at risk of going off topic) that a certain company called LucasArts needs to put out an epileptic-safe version of Star Wars for the theaters - Revenge of the Sith DID cause me to have a seizure while I was watching it in the theater (but no such problems at home). :)
