Is there a Petra song that is, at least in part, based on the parable of the lost coin? Its basic message is found in Luke 15:7, which reads, "There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous people who dont need repentance."
It seems to me that there's a chorus with that message, but I can't for the life of me remember which song or the exact words. I hate it when that happens ...
I know when somebody answers this question, I'm going to kick myself. I've heard every Petra song 1,000 times, but I just can't place this one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick

Well, off the top of my head I am hearing:
"And Jesus would leave the ninety nine to try to save the one."
from Back to the Streets (the song).

Bingo. I knew I'd heard that line a bazillion times. I could hear John singing it, but just couldn't place which song. I should've known another writer would be the one to help a brother out.
That's actually based on The Parable of the Lost Sheep, but the Lost Coin story is right after that in Luke.
Thanks,
Rick
