Listening to the clips available for this and just noticed it was recorded on the day of my birthday! Woot!

Anyways it was cool hearing them jam some old petra tunes. Too bad the quality isn't better.

I can barely understand what they are saying though cause my ears have fluid in them right now (allergies). Where's a transcripter when you need one? :D

Do you mean GHF? And if you are talking about the concert in Fort Wayne, it was fantabulous, possibly the best Petra show I ever went to. Better than the show recorded for "Farewell", in my (slightly biased) opinion...

Yeah.. not quite sure where I got GPH from.

From what I could tell, that particular concert seemed more worthy of a farewell. Especially since it included some originals (played by GHF.

And yes it was in Ft Wayne.

Actually, the old stuff was played by GHF and Bob Hartman together, so you could call it the original Petra :)

As a fan, I find it really cool that I have gotten to see all 4 of these guys (Hartman, Glover, Hough, DeGroff) play together a few times now... There really is something special there.

And, no, greenchili, sorry, you're not the only one with a copy of the Fort Wayne concert. All the Petra members involved that night, past and present, were given a special DVD recording of the event (with the understanding that they were not to copy it for anyone, so please don't ask!) Compared to the Farewell DVD, I was much more impressed with the Fort Wayne show... The energy level was so incredible and the talent just oozed off the stage!

Regardless, it's all good :)

Happy listening.

I don't have any DVD.. I was listening to the .m3u playlist available from the Johnwschlitt site. Regardless it sound like something truly worthy of being video taped.

Nice to see someone did that. Enjoy the memories. :D

You forgot to say. Nanny nanny nanner.. :P

I was at the Fort Wayne concert as well, and once John got off of the stage who was Bob playing with? I got bored with it and we left because we had 1.5 hour drive.

Jen, I assume that you have watched the dvd that was taped that night? Do you like it ? It turned out not to bad. I was glad to be able to get it to all the original members. It sure was a special night. I know that I will never forget!!

Yeah, John (DeGroff) brought it over to my house the weekend after he got it. I really enjoyed it, and relived that concert through it. I have watched it more times than the Farewell DVD, although I might be a little biased in my preference :)

Thank you so much for sharing with us!

These were the original members of Petra, and they were playing songs off the first two Petra albums.
