Is there any way to obtain the bass tabs (JUST the bass tabs) for the following list of Petra songs? I would be using these for my own personal use ONLY to improve my sound when I practice my bass.
Beyond Belief
I Am On The Rock
Jekyll & Hyde
Think Twice
Mine Field
Judas' Kiss
It Is Finished
Sight Unseen
Dance
Whole World
Once again, this would be for personal use only when I practice my bass. I would not use these in any circumstances in public (not my work).
If anyone has a way of obtaining these tabs, please let me know, either by response or by e-mail.
Thanks!!

As per Bob, all music is out of print. So, hunker down, learn how to read and write your own. I don't even know of any sites that would have it. Google for it.

Back in the day there really were not any such thing as TABS so at best you might find fan created tabs or tabs for Jeckyl & Hyde. All of the early song books were pretty much musical notation only with chords listed by name.

So all of the Petra catalog is out of print? If that's the case that is very strange.

The sheet music, not the recorded music. Sorry. Didn't clarify. The only way that you will find that old stuff is on ebay, or if someone copies it for you.
Tabs are for lazy people (haha). Just kidding. (maybe) Sorta (not really). I'll go back in my hole. No sleep and still behind on work! I'm coo-coo for Coa Coa Puffs!

The only Petra bass tabs I know of online are for God Fixation and Lord I Lift... and they are located here:

I'm not sure how accurate they are. They guy also sometimes will transcribe requests, so you might ask about the songs you want.
Good luck!

Brent,
1. I know how to read and write music. However, when you don't have a BAND to play along with, it gets kind of dreary playing your own stuff to synthesized computer music.
2. Tabs may be for lazy people, and I myself prefer regular music, but tabs are readily available for most groups and easily converted into sheet music format.
3. Creating my own bassline from the Petra music I have would be much easier if I could slow the music down or even have it pause and hold a pitch...do you (or anyone else) know of any computer software that can do this?
4. I have a 4 week old daughter. Long periods of time where I can sit and listen and tweak and experiment don't really exist for me anymore.
That's why I asked.
