That's excellent executioner. I hope you enjoy it. Mine should be in today as well then hopefully, since I only live a few hours away from you.

Some things I've notice from the CiTaS DVD are that Computer Brians and Speak To The Sky are missing; Was it like this on the VHS version? I don't remember. I'm really impressed with the quality of the video/audio of the DVD; It sounds alot better than the Farewell DVD sounds on my system in the den. IMO Farewell really is really a subpar quality production.

I watched this video a long time ago, but I was a new Christian and a new Petra fan. I had not even heard the "Beat the System" album or even the CIT&S record, casette, or DVD, so I would not have even thought about it then. But that is interesting that those are left off.

Got mine today as well. Seeing as how I've never seen CITaS before, I thought it looked pretty good overall for a VHS to DVD transfer. There were a couple songs and basically all dialogue missing, but then again - the VHS may not have been an exact video copy of the the show the way the CD was...I don't know.

No complaints outside of the (hideous) outfits...

Now...since I'm only 25, I must comment on the CITaS outfits at risk of torching...
were those outfits:
1: considered "cool" in 1985,
2: the outfit that was clean that day,
3: just bad fashion sense?

Remember, I was 4 when this video came out...

I remember watching the video in 1989, and thinking hmmmm. But then again, I was never one to follow fashion trends, and I bought most of my clothes as hand me downs from Greg Volz.

I did not get my video today. Perhaps it's because I live in a smaller town and our mail has to go through Abilene first. Even if we mail a letter to someone else in our town, it has to go to Abilene first. Hopefully, I'll get it tomorrow.

got mine in today. i haven't seen the concert b4. i thought the quality was really good also. i was in my early 20's in the mid 80's, and as i was watching i was thinking, "did we really dress like that?" hopefully there will be a lot of sales and they can release more archived material.

Computer Brains and Speak to the sky were not on the original VHS release. Can't wait to get my DVD. Glad it has turned out so well. Hope Bob sells a bunch.

Good to see that some people are starting to get them. I'll be ordering mine sometime this weekend. Just not sure how many I'm gonna get. I doubt I'll watch it right away though. I might load it up check out the menu's (if any) and maybe watch the first 20 minutes or so to see how the quality is.

I'm a little worn on this concert, but who knows. I might get caught up in it again when I check them out.

Got mine today. I only watched a few minutes of it as I am at work :) You can tell it is VHS but it was a very good transfer. Better than when I transferred my VHS to wmv format, that's for sure. Great job Bob!

Thanks, Phillip

Mine was waiting on me when I got home today. I'm about 20 minutes into it and it's awesome. The picture really is great. I forgot how corny Greg's physical "sign language" could be, but I'm just so grateful to have it!

Thanks Bob!!!

And in fact the CD is incomplete compared to the audio cassette. The CD has a few songs shortened, bits of John Lawry's and Louie Weaver's solos cut, trimmed Greg Volz's altar call, and completely excised the song The Great I Am.

At any rate, I hope to get this DVD soon, but money is really tight at the moment. I just hope it sells well enough that it's still for sale when I finally get some money to spend!

I still haven't received mine. I should get it tomorrow, or I might need to get in touch with them to see what the problem might be. But the thing did say 2 to 9 days. I guess we hicks down here have to wait a bit longer.
