Well, looks like now we can find out what Hong Kong, China thinks The Petra Zone is for:

I just tried petrafanclub.com and johnschlitt.com and I found out that both these names have been taken by talkinauction.com. I guess they also took all the e-mail addresses that were registered for the newsletters over there, cause recently I received a promo e-mail from Talkinauction.com out of the blue. Anyone else got spammed by these guys?

I'm disappointed to find out that they kept the mailing list also... that's pretty underhanded. What happened was that John had a "friend" register those domain names and set up the Web sites, and that "friend" let them lapse into disrepair... Sue was always in change of JohnSchlitt.com but it was registered and hosted by "friend." Eventually the "friend" was hit by a virus and he blamed Sue for it (it could not possibly have been her fault), so he took away her access to the server (she could not do any updates). When she bought space on a new server so she could do the updates, the "friend" would not relinquish the domain name JohnSchlitt.com, so she bought johnWschlitt.com and that has been John's Web site every since.

The moral of the story: do not do any business with TalkinAuction.com. They are dishonest, and judging from the virus incident they are incompetent as well (I actually was able to see their SQL Server sa password on a Web page at one point). I have never said that in public before, but I think it is safe to do so since it's pretty obvious to everyone here that they have stolen domain names that rightfully belong to John and to Petra.

Well Law Suits have happend over smaller reasons......but then again it may not be the Christian thing to do.

But maybe we can go to prayer over the matter.

I don't think there will ever be a lawsuit; I get the impression that John is not interested in pursuing the issue, and since Petra now has a new domain name that they've established, I don't know why they would care that much about it (except that it's printed in the liner notes of one of the CDs).
