PETRA's Hot Spot on EBAY

Post by bakersfieldpethead » Tue Dec 23, 2003 5:35 am

Ok guys

Somebody is really wanting to make our Christmas as good one this year

Get over to Ebay, and look up Petra stuff, right now as of today 12/23/2003

Somebody has verious collections of Petra PROMO 45s on the following

First Love/Mine Field Promo 45
Homeless Few Promo 45
This Means War Promo 45
Open Book Promo 45
I am Available Radio Remix Promo 45
Fools Gold Promo 45

I mean come on, and there are starting at $3.00 per record.

Also someone says that they have original 1st presses of This Means War and On Fire CDs.

Also PETRA's first album (LP) near mint/ original pressing, is also available on ebay, but it's only got a few hours left. that bid is at $11 right now

Washes Whiter Than - LP 2 days left and the bid is still at $1.99

Also Kevin Brandow - Pogostick is up for sale there
Greg X Volz - The River is Rising (LP)

People are going crazy I guess, there are several copies of Jekyll & Hyde, Revival, Petra Praise 2, Still Means War, No Doubt, Beat the System, This Means War, Power Praise, the Power of Praise, The Rock Block, War and Remberance and tuns of other stuff, if you don't have it look it up and buy it.

I haven't seen so much of one artist on Ebay before in my life.

Petra on eBay

Post by Michael » Tue Dec 23, 2003 8:46 am

There is almost always a TON of Petra stuff on eBay, particularly CDs, both old and current. Someone might be interested in that original pressing of This Means War! because on later pressings they messed up the very beginning of "He Came, He Saw, He Conquered." Carefully count the snare hits at the very beginning on your CD; if you hear four, you have the good version. If you only hear three, yours is the later mangled version. Interestingly, some of the Star Song compilations have the good version!
