The Petra Zone

I just thought it would be fun to share our goofy little stories about Petra related things that have happened to us. I don't know about you, but most of the time, they're things only a Pethead would understand and appreciate.

For instance, the other day on the way to church, we were listening to Unseen Power, and this car passed by with a license plate that read "WNDMLLS". That was so cool and freaky both!

I`m a pethead and I don`t get it

I just thought it was funny cuz the Unseen Power cover has windmills, and the license plate read "WNDMLLS" (windmills). I don't know if they do this in Mexico, but in a lot of states, they let you make up your own license plate, and here in California, you see all sorts of crazy license plates!

You have a faster brain than me hehehe. I would never ever thought in that word, because is new for me LOLOL but just for seeing the comtext I know what It means .

I need to learn more vocabulary geez so I can relate more stuff to Petra

Just for the record... for anyone who has posted anything at A Guide To Petra (like an album review or a favorite albums list or even a song comment), there is a place called "Close Encounters With Petra" where you can add stories to your GTP page; it's more for stories of times you ran into Petra personally, but things like the windmills story might fit.

My brother-in-law toured with Petra for about a year and a half. He owns a stage light company. He got me some Petra memorabila and an advance release copy of "God Fixation". That was NICE! He introduced me to the band at a concert in Chattanooga, TN.

I hate for something to be available and people not know about it!

Well, I guess one would be the time we went to a Petra concert and we were in line for autographs. The line was pretty long, but I could kind of see the table where the guys were to sit. We could make out people sitting, but weren't sure if they were John and the crew. While standing on my tippy toes I was trying to make out if it was the guys or not. Just as I turned to my husband to tell him, "I don't think it's them" John walked in and I walked right into him. I felt = <--that tall.

Oh, and today we were at my father in law's apt. complex to pick him up and while waiting this guy walked into the building. He looked EXACTLY like Bob. If I didn't know any better, I would've thought for sure it was him.

I saw a guy who looked a lot like John when I was getting my books for school a couple of weeks ago. Except he wasn't as tall, he was younger, and John wouldn't be in a college bookstore in California buying books LOL.

Two facts happened to me that has a Petra-link. First, when I was 17, I was baptized with the Hoply Spirit while I was hearing "Grave Robber"! It was a tremendous blessing! And Second, I married with the song "In the Likeness of You"! Another tremendous blessing!
