I have found a selftitled release by eBand, containing 6 trax titled like this:
1)E Band - E Band - 01 - Intro & Jesus Is Just Alright.mp3
2)E Band - E Band - 02 - Walk Toward The Light.mp3
3)E Band - E Band - 03 - Feelings Come, Feelings Go.mp3
4)E Band - E Band - 04 - Why Don't You Lay Down You're Life.mp3
5)E Band - E Band - 05 - Which One Will You Choose.mp3
6)E Band - E Band - 06 - Praise Ye The Lord.mp3

I am considering to put these up for download on my files-site, but it would be interresting if someone has some more info about this release.
It's ripped from an old unlabeled CD-R.
I have listened to the trax, and it's Greg X Volz on vocals. The quality is not the best, but it's very nice to hear Greg sing these songs...
Does anyone know anything about this stuff?

The eBand-trax is now available for download as a 50mb zip-file.
The quality is not the best, but I share it "as is".

This is not a studio / official release. The only studio-material by eBand is featured on the Because I Am Rock Musical from 1973, recently released on CD by Hidden Vision Records.

This is a live performance by eBand that was recorded in 1973 at the Jesus Rally at the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL.

The songs Walk Toward The Light and Feeling would later be recorded by Greg X. Volz for his solo-albums. And of course Praise Ye The Lord was recorded by Petra for Never Say Die.

Man, it's weird hearing such a folky version of Praise Ye The Lord. So we know that this and The Coloring Song are old 'e' tunes. Are there any other 'e' songs that made it to Petra? For that matter, how many other songs from Never Say Die are actually from the 70s? Because Killing My Old Man was originally going to be on Come and Join Us, so that's at least 3 70s songs.

I think I read somewhere that Disciple also was one of the older Petra-songs, but I'm not sure about that.

I don't know exactly what's the origin of Road To Zion. Does anyone have a clue as to who exactly Mike Hudson is?
