The Petra Zone

Hey y'all,

I am working hard to try and bring Petra to Kansas City. We here in Kansas City have a festival every year called Rock the Light. This year's artist are still being chosen and I have written the Radio station about bringing them here and they gave me the info on who to talk to about getting them here...the place that does the concerts books the artists. Anyways, my question is, is anyone here interested in writing them also or even coming to Kansas City to see Petra if they come? The dates are September 3-4. I really hope I can get this done...

why don`t you guys plan all this in summer??? it would be way easier for foreigners to go over there

I hope God provides you everything you need and can get Petra to go over there.

I'd be willing to make the drive. I live in Wichita and would make the drive out, I might even make it a youth event at my church and bring a bus load of kids. Might there be a church in KC that our kids could bunk up at after the concert? Even just to lay a bunch of sleeping bags out on the floor.

The only thing about festivals is Petra usually ends up with such a short show compared to other artists, I'd really like to take the kids to a REAL concert, but I'd take what I can get. The yearly Petra concert at the hockey game in Wichita didn't happen this year for us.
