I have now heard the trax, and it really sounds great! Johns voice is better than ever, and the lyrics so strong! I am looking forward to hear the whole album! Great coverart too! I really liked it!
The guitarplay is rock-solid!

I hate to say it, but I'm not all that impressed. Nothing original here. I will probably buy it because I have everything else by Petra, but again I was hoping for some original music. Oh well...and Bob is such a great songwriter.

Judas as a Bonus Track!!

I can't believe all the songs that I sing each week in church are now gonna be on a CD by Bob & John! Sure would be nice to have it by Christmas but I guess that I shouldn't hold my breath. Looks like Judas Kiss is gonna be the bonus track that was left off of Farewell. Glad they dropped the "Z" glad they added "Judas" and glad they are performing together. Kinda funny but I'm real glad that they're listening to what the fans want. I guess that really started with J&H. I guess a full fledged Petra reunion tour can't be far off :D .......Nice to post here again, its been a while.

Well, this seems to be the tracklist. I'm familiar with all the songs except the first one, so I'm not sure if that's the correct title.

I'm Trading My Sorrows (Yes Lord)
Come, Now Is The Time To Worship
God Of Wonders
Draw Me Close To You (You're All I Want)
Here I Am To Worship
My Redeemer Lives
Reign In Me
We Fall Down
Blessed Be The Name
Lord, I Lift Your Name On High (live)
Judas' Kiss (live)

My guess is that the last two tracks are the missing tracks from Farewell. So this turns out to be a Petra-record after all, with two genuine Petra-tracks and a lot of II Guys!

I think the songs are a rather conservative choice. A lot of these songs have lost their value to me due to that fact that they have been sung and recorded too much. But perhaps this album will pull them back to my catalogue of favorite worship songs

Well now I like this!!!

I love these songs and they are some of my favorite songs to lead at our church. So glad they dropped the "Z" This sounds like the praise album that would follow J&H. Great guitar tone, great voice, good to see the bonus tracks!!!

Very nice to see the new cover and sound. Post Petra is shaping up to be pretty nice!!!

OH GOD

So there's no Bob originals on there? I'm a little confused, since I had received this in an email back in August when inquiring about the John and Bob show:
:
If you have a group of excellent musicians/praise band, Bob is writing some new worship songs that they would like to showcase and play together with your group at the end of their concert.
:
So did Bob decide to not record his new ones? Or is the track listing above incomplete?

I guess this is the complete tracklist. In the last newsletter from Petramerchandise.com they told about 10 tracks plus one bonus song, so I guess this is all there is on the album.

That voice just gives me chills!

Some of my favorite praise songs are here and are done great. Great guitar solo on the "God Of Wonders" clip so maybe more solos to come from the master. I'm wondering who played the other instruments on the album.

As always, I enjoyed hearing John and Bob - I was hoping for original material as well. I'm also not a huge fan of "God of Wonders" or "I'm trading my sorrows" - our church plays those songs a lot and I'm really tired of them.

"Draw me close to you" sounded awesome, though.

Not quite what I was hoping for (sounds a little generic, actually), but not bad. I just wish they had done something original. I think the main selling point are the bonus Petra tracks.

Petra covering Third Day, eh? There's just something kind of odd about that.

Actually, I'm pretty sure God of Wonders was written by Marc Byrd (of Common Children, Glassbyrd, and lately the Choir). Steve Hindalong (The Choir, Lost Dogs) might have had something to do with it, too.
