I would love to go, especially since I live 40 miles away, but it's just not going to happen...

I'm running a 50k race (32 miles!) today, one that I've trained for for over 2 years, and the logistics are just impossible. I didn't know about the concert until way after I invested all that training... Plus the fact that I don't know if I'll be walking semi-normally this evening at all....

50k... now that's just an amazing accomplishment and I know you've done 4 marathons this year, too!

Wow. I ran a 25k once. That was 60 lbs. and 19 years ago. Pretty cool race here in Grand Rapids, MI -- The 5th3rd River Bank Run (formerly the Old Kent River Bank Run until they got gobbled up in the aquisition by 5th3rd Bank). It is one of the biggest 25k's in the country. You should check it out. Maybe we could team that up with a GHF concert in GR or Hastings!!
