Hi! Just one question:
Is it right to distribute DVD's of this copyrighted material to low-cost price? I don't think so! I did myself share those files for free at my website, but have now removed these. If Petra should decide to release some of this material, it would be a bad idea to spread full DVD's of them all around.
Anyway, I guess your intention is good, but that doesn't make it right to distribute full DVD with coverart and labelprints to people who pay!

I just don't share DVD's myself, because there is always people who will make coverart and sell the stuff......

Under current copyright law, it is ILLEGAL to make, sell and distribute copies of out-of-print materials. Unless this guy has made arrangements with EMI, Bob Hartman, etc...this is highly illegal. I have forwarded the information to Bob Hartman, and suspect that this guy will not be selling Petra material much longer.

Hang on there, Tim. I did't "sell" you anything.

I made a copy of something that was out of print at the time because you asked. I did this in exchange for a donation to pay for John's website (host server, domain registration). These things cost money.

I've never pocketed a dime - it all goes to keeping the site (and thePetraZone.com domain, btw) registered and running.

That's quite a bit different than selling on the public market and making money off of someone else's product.
