Ok, I don't know if this was sarcasm on 11 or what, but I did try to get the 1986 dream team to do a show and some said no. If I could pull it off, I would. I would book a hall, invite 2500 people and stand at the FOH mix position with my arms crossed and a big goofy grin on my face.

The only thing thar all of the rest of the world´s Pethead would like is that any concert of Petra 2010 lineup or the classic petra could be record... we would like that those concerts alowed to have a video camera and then can share it with us via petrafiles or any web site.....

PLEASE! Take a note if any of you (all who read this post) are involved in any show organization: remember us! (the rest of the world´s pethead who dream to be there and it will be imposible)

I never saw Petra in any incarnation. I did see Head East back in the day *shrug*

I saw John & Bob do the Just II Guys thing at a church about 30 minutes from Milwaukee, got a pic with them, and chatted John up for a few minutes. Great music, great testimony, great guys.

I'll be thrilled if I get to see this reunion with either Greg or John (though both would be my choice). As far as continuing Petra after this tour, I would love to see both Greg and John stay on as vocalists. Seriously. Journey never ever sounded better than when they had both Perry and Rollie in the band singing and off one another - Greg and John together could offer up some very cool new directions for the band. Also, when they tour, each could get a vocal break while the other did "his" stuff, and make it easier on them to hold up to singing night after night.

I hesitated to post this when I first got it. I emailed a certain person who would know better than anyone whether the "Classic Petra Reunion" was really happening. When he said, "quietly getting our ducks in a row", I wasn't sure if he wanted me to post this or not, and I hated to take advantage of his good nature by bugging him again just to ask. (I got it on April 9) But since Greg X. is shooing the cat out of the bag, I think it's okay to post this.

BTW: Does "www.classicpetra.com" do more than splash up a pretty picture for anyone else? I keep wondering if something about my browser settings is preventing me from seeing everything.

Nope, I can only see the pretty picture also.

Great picture it is too, they must be going all out with this.. that graphic is top notch professional

I do not have connections as far as the Classic Petra dealings, but a simple email gave me the answer as to who made the logo.
I know as much as everybody else, I am also waiting for the dates, I want to see if they are coming to Oklahoma.
