Maybe this album needs to stay in the attic for the rest of our lifetime.

I have always loved the groove in Morning Star. That's the one I'd like to see get some more edge. It seemed like it was right there on the edge of putting up a rock fist, but then kind of went back and hid in the safety of radio-friendliness.

"Morning Star", yes needs be included and so does "Yahweh Love". I think those were the two biggest songs of that album, wasn't it?
But you also have to remember, if you go back to Washes Whiter Than, only two of the guys were on that album. Bob and Greg. Mark came on in time for "Never Say Die" and Louie didn't show up til "More Power to Ya"

Poor Washes Whiter Than... The first thing I would like to see would be a proper CD rerelease of the original LP with all 10 songs. As far as I know, the only CD release was the awful, awful, awful decision to combine it with Never Say Die on one 18-track CD. Absent that improbability, then I would love to see the re-formed Classic Petra just re-record the whole album and release it with whatever best-of/new material CD they plan to release in the fall.
Absent that equally improbable scenario, they should at least re-record the two songs left off the CD, "(Couldn't Find Love) Without You" and "Magic Words."
I'm not the biggest WWT fan, and "Couldn't Find Love" is probably the weakest of the original 10 songs on the album, but "Magic Words" Is arguably one of the best, and it could really benefit from a modern re-creation. That, "Never Say Die" and "I'm Thankful" I think lend themselves best to what the band seems to have in mind.
But yeah, given that the Classic Petra website specifically excludes any album before Never Say Die, it's all wishful thinking anyway.

Ditto on Morning Star...it would sound good repolished with a modern sound.
As far as the actual songs that they do re-record...I'd love to hear a crunchier version of Angel of Light...that song always rocked!
