This Classic Petra tour got me thinking about which Christian bands I regret never having had a chance to see live. Here's my list, what's yours?
Petra, Beginning through 1992
Guardian
PFR
Whiteheart
Stryper
D&K
Shout
Holy Soldier
Allies
Whitecross

Top of my list is Prayer Chain, in spite of the lead singer's inability to stay on key.
Sup the Chemist or SFC - Christian hip-hop shows are usually hopelessly fruity, but I heard Sup did a great job.
Fleming and John
Steve Taylor - I think he'd have a fun show
Underoath - It's nice to occasionally get your face kicked in at a concert
Michael Card - I loved his Scribbling in the Sand album
Probably a bunch more.

I was lucky enough to be at one of the Prayer Chain reunion shows in 2003 (?). That year they played at Cornerstone and at Flevo Festival. I was at Flevo Festival. Good stuff.
What I would (have) like(d) to see is:
Definitely Petra pre-1997
Bride (I was set to go to a festival in Germany once to see them, but the evening before the bus that was supposed to take a whole bunch of Dutch people there was canceled, so I didn't have time to arrange alternative transportation)
Fair (they only play in Seattle)

I did see SFC and he did do a great job. I met him and his wife afterwards and they were really cool. BTW Dynamic Twins were good in concert also. Some of my friends and I played video games with them before the concert. It was cool to hang out them for a bit.
Others:
AD
Mastedon
Idle Cure

I was fortunate to be able to see many of these bands, "back in the day". Here is a list of the ones that come to mind.
1) Petra "Beat the System Tour" and "This Means War Tour"
2) WhiteHeart "Vital Signs Tour"
3) Stryper "Yellow and Black Attack Tour", "To Hell With the Devil Tour" and "In God We Trust Tour"
4) Rez Band
5) Allies
6) Daniel Amos
7) Mylon Lefevre & Broken Heart "Sheep in Wolves Clothing Tour" and "Crack the Sky Tour"
Can't remember all of them.

Wanted to see:
Guardian
PFR
Resurrection Band
Have seen:
Petra (Unseen Power)
White Heart (Tales of Wonder)
Jars of Clay
Larry Norman
DC Talk
Michael W Smith
Siloam
One Hundred Days
Tree 63
An interesting note about the White Heart concert. It was in Kitchener, Ontario and it was late starting because the band was delayed crossing the border. While waiting at the border they wrote a new song and decided to play it that night to test it out. The song was It Could Have Been You, which wouldn't show up on an album until Inside.

I've been to 4 White Heart shows and they always put on a great show. The last one I saw with them was when they opened up for Petra on the Salt Box Tour. They both put on great show that night.
